The Batture will be an oasis located on the river side of the levee in Uptown, New Orleans. Currently a heavy industrial yard between Walnut and Lowerline, the space will be revitalized as an offering to the surrounding Uptown neighborhood.
The 10-acre park will center around a sprawling lawn and offer neighbors food and drink from local chefs, a market, sunsets over the river and plenty of New Orleans flora to relax under and congregate around.

Free parking is available on-site. Additional parking is located at The Fly on Riverview Dr and in lots at Riverview Dr and South Ave. P.6 visitors are not permitted to park in the surrounding residental areas.
